A BIT ABOUT ME.

I am a complex creature with many facets, I am happy one minute and perplexed the next but I have learnt through observing the fine creature that is my husband not to take the world too seriously, to chill out and enjoy life. I am passionate about affairs that are close to my heart and what I believe in.

I live in Sydney, I have two children and a pug. We live by the water surrounded by national park. I work with people and radiation, am a serial uni student having completed many degrees spanning nearly 9 years and am a neat freak that borderlines on OCD. I keep old toothbrushes around the house to clean nooks and crannies and have an extensive collection of cleaning products.

I love music, all sorts of music but probably not the kind you'd expect. My collection is as eclectic as I am. I believe you should always have a good tune humming away in the background, the faster and the louder the bass the better.

I like photography, other peoples photography, I'm no good with a camera. I like investing in art, copied art, that kind that comes on poster paper that can then be framed to look a million dollars. I have a fetish for cushions, nail polish and costume jewellery.

My children are unique creatures with equally unique names and are the absolute loves of my life. They teach me how to be more patient, more honest, more creative, more expressive and more loving every single day. They have made my world a far more interesting and better place since they arrived here on earth. They have taught me that I don't need to change who I am to be a good mother, that dancing to loud music, clapping to some drum and base in the car can be fun for everyone and that you need to let go of all inhibitions when playing Incy Wincy Spider with your baby and doing playdoh and blowing bubbles with you toddler.

I have strong opinions on many things. I believe you should do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. I believe that people should be treated fairly, that everyone deserves a little respect no matter who you are, what you do and what you look like and that the world would be a better place if everyone just cracked a smile a little once in a while and learned to let go and loosen up.

I like writing letters, talking to strangers in my travels, dancing on podiums and letting my friends know I love them. I have tattoos, some regretful, some not so. They have opened up doors to meeting interesting and talented people. I've worked in a very busy well known bar in Sydney, a needle exchange in a chemist, selling sports wear, bras, shavers and now spend my time working in the medical radiation sciences field. I love my job and take it very seriously but deep down I am still a wild child at heart. You take take the girl out of the night club but you can't take the night club out of the girl.
